Travel Day to Back to Sydney

This morning we had to pack up and say goodbye to the luxury of Coconut Grove in Port Douglas.With the last loads of laundry completed and suitcases packed full of clean clothes we were ready to start anew in Sydney.

Our flight was slightly delayed so Brad managed to get some t-shirt shopping done and stop to get a low-cal snack for the plane ride back.

We've been a little (OK, very) spoiled for the past week in Port Douglas.  The diving was amazing, the Daintree tour was interesting, the apartments were incredible and it all added up to three people that were very reluctant to leave.

Luckily today is Friday, so we all headed back to Mega Furry Friday back at the Oxford and feeling much more awake than we did a week ago when we landed.

Ready or not, Mardi Gras, here we come!
